A two or three course meal of freshly cooked seasonal dishes of superb quality, at an incredible price! Perfect for a quick business lunch or a leisurely afternoon with friends. Or why not pop in for dinner before the theatre? We even have guests who come to us after work because they don’t feel like cooking, and at these prices, why not?
The menu changes daily and always has a good choice of Vegetarian, Meat and Fish Dishes. There are always four starters, four mains and three desserts to choose from, and the menu often features a reasonably priced guest wine, by the bottle or glass.
We cook the dishes for our Prix Fixe menu with the same integrity as our A La Carte, this means all produce is bought locally, and prepared freshly on the premises. We make everything from scratch, stocks, sauces, desserts, even the ice cream*. No cheating, and you will taste the difference.
*= there are obvious exceptions- we don’t smoke our own salmon, or make our own cheese, but we buy local, and we buy the best.
